The 2010 Games are clearly eco-conscious, from the use of clean-energy sources, the construction of LEED-certified buildings for the Athlete’s village, and a living roof of 400,000 native plants atop the Convention Center. Even the most prized gold, silver, and bronze medals have gone green; they were made from recycled electronics.
