A meeting of real estate industry leaders in Dallas, TX this week concluded with the agreement that green building in today’s world is simply ‘good business.’ Saving energy translates into cutting costs, above and beyond helping to save the environment. Observations were made that a noted shift in attitude has been picked up in today’s real estate market, most notably that consumers expect energy efficiency to be part of the conversation.
